The Tel Dan Stele - First back-translation into Koine-Greek

This preprint presents a first back-translation of the Tel Dan Stele into Koine Greek. It provides a philological bridge between the Aramaic inscription, the Septuagintal lexical horizon, and the Hellenistic-Herodian bilingual milieu, allowing direct comparison with Greek textual and historiographical corpora.

Cette prépublication propose une première rétro-traduction de la Stèle de Tel Dan en grec koïné. Elle établit un pont philologique entre l’inscription araméenne, l’horizon lexical de la Septante et le milieu bilingue hellénistico-hérodien, afin de permettre une comparaison directe avec les corpus textuels et historiographiques grecs.
